The Philly Game Shop is South Philly’s friendliest local tabletop game shop. We carry board games, trading card games, indie & local made games, tabletop RPGs, gaming accessories, and handmade geeky gifts. We are a safe, inclusive space every day because we believe tabletop games are for everyone & no one should be excluded from the game table.

Cool shop, my kid was able to get some miniatures for a D&D game on short notice. Would have liked to understand how the tables worked, but it was busy. Also, there were some customers that stared at me in an uncomfortable way...lol..either way... their shop is cool, and I would recommend buying games and seeing for yourself.

It is a general boardgame store. Very clean and friendly. They sell most of, if not all of, the games you see on the shelves. They sell dice. Some cool d100s. Pretty small section of D&D, and Pathfinder was non-existent. If you are looking for a crowd and some tabletop game time? I believe you have found it.

I don’t get to Philadelphia much unless I take my kid to a doctor appointment or to go to the airport. I happen to come across this game store today and I must say it was really nice. They had quite a selection of board games and card games. I will say, if you are a miniature gamer, it probably isn’t at the store for you as I didn’t see any miniatures other than maybe a dozen dungeons and dragons minis. They have a little private game room that looks really cool and would be fun to play in. The person working in the store was very nice And even allowed me to use the restroom, even though I didn’t buy anything. If I was local to Philadelphia, they should be detected I would want to play.
